Black Star Sailing is a Swiss regatta team that competed in the GC32 Racing Tour until the end of 2023. The GC32 Racing Tour is the official racing series of the GC32 high-performance hydrofoil catamaran.

The GC32 Racing Tour organised at least four regattas a year until the number of events was reduced in 2023 due to various developments. From 2024, Black Star Sailing will no longer be involved in the GC32 Racing Tour until further notice.

Find out more about the past GC32 Racing Tour dates and all current regattas of the Black Star Sailing Team on this website under EVENTS.

Updates, insights and results on the Black Star Sailing Team can be found in our NEWS section.

Black Star Sailing

Black Star Sailing is a company with the goal of successfully participating in international sailing regattas, while at the same time promoting young talent – from Switzerland if possible.

Black Star Sailing wants to bring the often complex know-how around national and international racing closer to young talents and regatta newcomers by offering a place in the team and integrating them firmly into the organisation. Find out more about our talent development activities under NEWS and under RC44.

The Black Star Sailing Team is also committed to the environment, especially water, and acts accordingly by keeping waste to a minimum and disposing of the quantities produced properly. Non-potable tap water is turned into drinking water through filtration, preventing further plastic waste.

Black Star Sailing was launched in 2019 and is still in the process of expanding its partner network. Black Star Sailing runs campaigns, RC44 (and till end of 2023 GC32), and relies on a wide range of support.
