Flying into the Season 2019

After two intensive training camps in Port Camargue, the Black Star Sailing Team focuses on the third camp in Villasimius. In Port Camargue we found ideal conditions in the harbour and at the Hotel Spinaker, which allowed us to come together as a team. Due to perfect water conditions the maneuvers could be practiced and refined. On land there was the necessary infrastructure to bring the boat “Ready to Race”.

Our focus is now on the third event in Sardinia. The boat will be measured, the racing sails will be painted with the branding and the forthcoming work at the training camp in France will be done. In In mid-April we ship and take the ferry to Sardinia. In Villasimius there will be other teams there. This means that besides practicing the maneuvers, we can also measure and compare our speed with other teams. Furthermore, we have the opportunity as a team to practice regatta situations together under speed and stress to improve and fine-tune our existing skills and performance.
