44Cup Oman, 1 – 5 March 2023, Muscat, Oman | With the new year, Black Star Sailing kicks off a new season – and we’re already in the swing of things. The first event on the 2023 calendar takes us back to Muscat, which makes sense in that good and, above all, warm sailing conditions are joined by familiar locations and proven organizations.
Although returning to the venue of the final regatta in 2022 saves some logistical effort, we have nevertheless been in intensive preparations for weeks. In particular, there have been changes in our team setup, which we will share in more detail.
Accordingly, we are curious to see whether we can continue our performance and whether we will be able to sustain the upward trend of the past season. Once again, only top teams have registered for the season that has just started, which will once again ensure a positive rivalry on and off the water.
Our reunion with Muscat last December was very enjoyable. From our first regatta in 2019, we still had fond memories of the Sultanate of Oman. Knowing that we will again lack nothing at the upcoming regatta, we can focus on ourselves. Accordingly, excitement is setting in…
